{Food for Thought}

Talk about something beautiful you saw this week.

  1. I saw members of the ward congregate up to the stand to participate in the ward choir extemporaneously as an act of showing their faith. Very cool.

  2. I know the ice and snow has caused a lot of trouble this week through the area, but I can't help, but feel a spark of child-like wonder to see all of the pure white. I love how the falling snow seems to dampen the chaotic noise of an ever-so-busy world; how the pure- white, celestial flakes blanket the earth and, if only for a few short moments, make everything gloriously clean. How all of the sharp lines and edges of a world so harsh are softened; and above all how families are drawn together to huddle warm inside safe from the cold. BEAUTIFUL!!

  3. An orange. Maybe we don't think of oranges as being beautiful, but I bet to a pioneer who lived in wood houses with wood furniture, with wheat flour foods would have appreciated an orange and it's beautiful color, It's juicy-ness, and it's flavor. Go enjoy an orange! It's good for you, too! :)
