{Q & A}
Here is another new addition to our Blog! It's all about you! What are your questions? Need some advice? Ask it here and see what your fellow RS sisters have to say.
Ignore them. They will get more mad before they calm down. No matteer how stressed it makes you- Don't even look at them. And soon enough they will learn "that is not how to get what they want."
Ditto! It's best to ignore the behavior so they don't learn to use it as tool to get attention. I find it easiest to ignore them if I make sure there is nothing nearby they can hurt themselves on and then just leave the room, if they follow, just repeat, eventually they will get the picture and calm down. Then when the tantrum is done, be sure to acknowlege the happy and calm behavior so they learn that as a more appropriate method for getting things they would like.
What do you do when your usually perfect 1 year old throws a temper tantrum?

ReplyDeleteI agree with the above as well as distracting them sometimes. It just depends on where you are when the volcano erupts!!!
