I have a tradition for the month of February that I look forward to every year....I do the "14 Days of Valentines" to my husband and boys. You can check it out on my blog.http://thenielsenfamilyblog.blogspot.com/
When my husband and I tried to go out to dinner years ago on Valentines Day in Springfield it was not fun....the crowds were ridiculous...we even had reservations and waited two hours for our table...never again. We have made it a tradition to have a family dinner (with all the candles and trimmings, of course)each year. As our girls have gotten older, they have planned and cooked the meal and designed the decorations for our celebration. If Valentine's Day falls on a weekend, like it does this year, we take a long weekend trip as a family.

ReplyDeleteWe watch the movie Groundhog Day. My friend has ground pork (ground"hog")for dinner. It's been a fun family tradition for some time.
