Homemade Baking Mix
This recipe will store in an airtight container at room temperature for 4 weeks. You can use it exactly as you would use Bisquick of Jiffy.
8 c. flour
1 1/2 c. instant nonfat dry milk
1/2 c. sugar
5 T. baking powder
1 T. salt
2 c. shortening
In a large bowl, blend all dry ingredients thoroughly. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles corn meal.
